China Joins In protecting Environment

China, with over a billion population, joins the growing list of countries who are aiming to change shoppers habits in using plastics in a bid to protecting the environment. Ultra thin plastic bags (less than 0.025 mm thick) with effect on 1 June 2008 will be ban. The ban would surely have impact on shoppers in China, as usually this thin plastics are typically just used once and then discarded, adding to the waste harming our environment. Enforcing of the ban will definitely determine whether this exericse would be a success.
